Job Profile
- Development of test plan specifications.
- Responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of testing in accordance to test plan specifications
- Ensure that work meets or exceeds project performance, reliability, and quality goals.
- Responsible for functional and performance testing as well as reporting test results
- Work closely with the engineering organization to ensure that products are testable and can be validated.
- Provide guidance or solutions for maintenance issues prioritized by the customer support organization
- Mentor other test engineers and, where applicable, take the technical leadership
role on specific projects.

Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in the development and execution of test plans and test scripts for large-scale Web-based applications and documenting the results in a manner that is easily understood.
- 5+ years Experience using Mercury /Rational testing tools (Quality Center, QTP/Win Runner and ReqPro)
- Experience using JMeter.
- Experience in the development and execution of test plans and test scripts for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Experience in UNIX and Windows environments
- Knowledge of programming concepts and practices & has the ability to work closely with developers
- Experience with complete Software Development Life Cycle including requirements, design, and development and testing.
- Experience into Education Domain would be an added advantage.

Education
- The ideal candidate should be a BE/MCA with more than 5 years of IT experience
- The candidate should have excellent project/team management and customer facing skills.
